Saturday Squad

Playing in Matlock & District FL.

Following an outstanding season in Mansfield & District, the team has taken first steps towards open age football by switching to Matlock & District League.

Their record in last season of youth football was outstanding with goals galore whilst playing good football and continuing their tradition of fairplay and encouragement of each other which has characterised the team ever since they started playing together. The climax to the season is arguably their achievement on a glorious sunny afternoon at Alfreton Town FC ground when they played superbly well to lift the League Benevolent Cup. Thoroughly well deserved and a magnificent 6-0 victory at Bilsthorpe on the evening of 11th May gave the team the League title.
