2010/11 - ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION

At the Club's AGM on 24th July, by a majority vote, the following rates of Club subscription become effective with effect from 1st August 2010;
For Senior and U18 teams; a match fee of Ł4.00 per game;
For U15 and U16 teams; an annual fee of Ł80; a "family" rate of Ł110
For U9, U10, U11, U12; an annual fee of Ł25 (plus match day playing fee as notified); a "family rate of Ł45:
U8, U16G (development): to be determined by Committee
In addition, when the Club's winter training switches to the Community School's MUGA, a supplementary fee of Ł2.00 will be charged to all attending.

Please settle fee payment with appropriate team manager.

On a cold February night, the Club were privilaged to to invited by Derby County FC to provide the flag wavers and guard of honour for the entry of the players from their tunnel at the Derby County v Preston Championship match. All teams were represented and were invited to walk around the touchline to get the ovation from the (somewhat small at the time) crowd; team photos were taken in the hallowed centre circle of the pitch and all their individual show biz ambitions were realised as Derby County Publicity team videoed their match experience. From their (literally) pitch side seats, the children were then treated to superb 8 goal feast as Derby and Preston served up a memorable match (though I thought the goal keeping of both teams was really naff !) I enjoyed it, my daughter's first time visit to a footy match (more used to the oval ball) resulted in the dumping of her boy friend for the "blonde long haired cutie" and if she enjoyed it, it was a success and from what I overheard I hope most of the children enjoyed.themselves too. Our thanks go to the adults who accompanied the teams and kept order. My apologies go to these members of ours who were given a mighty scare as they saw the coaches drive off without them. We were ordered to depart in convoy by the police control because we had been parked in the "away" supporters coach park - lesson to be learnt.

We hold organised coaching sessions at the Recreation Ground during the Spring and Summer and at the Tibshelf Community School‘s Multi Use Games Area during winter.

For 10/11 we will field teams:
KickStart Sunday League: U9, U10, U11, U12
CHAD Mansfield & District Youth Football League; U15, U16,
Rowsley & District Youth Football League (Sundays); U18
Matlock & District: U18 (Sat)
Chesterfield & District Amateur Football League; Seniors

Additionally in accordance with DCFA guidelines we will have two teams classified as "in development" which will, throughout the season, continue to develop technical and physical skills under the guidance of the Club but are unlikely to play organised league football. This will apply to U16 Girls and U8 mixed (i.e. either girls or boys who are over 6 but under 8 as at 31st August 2010)
