Sponsorship A Club like ours cannot exist without the generousity of commercial, community and private sponsors whose contributions ensure that we are able to provide all members with the means to enjoy sporting and social activities under the Club banner. The following have, either in the past or present and in no particular order of significance, supported the Club with their generousity; Centrepak; 1st Step Recruitment; Mrs M Yorke; Derbyshire County Council; Tibshelf Parish Council; Toyota UK Ltd.; Gerry Foley Motors; Medan Courier Services; CWS: Location, Location (2007); creativeforum.co.uk; Purringtons Bookmakers of Hasland; Mr J Denton; Derbyshire Properties; MGB Care Services; Apex Hydraulics (2008); Julie & Neil Walker (2007); Mrs A Beckett (2009). Our gratefull thanks go to these organisations and individuals, Without their contributions, whether financial or material, the Club would not be able to survive. It is a sad fact but as we endevour to develop the Club our need for sponsorship remains as critical as ever. If anybody or organisation wishes to become involved with the Club either financially or with the offer of services, please contact any one of the Club's Officers for further information. |

*************************************************************************************************************** The Parish Council has decided to defer any plans for redeveloping the Recreation Ground until the situation of the new school build's availability to the Community is clarified. The ground and the pavilion are in desperate need of a refurishment as nothing has effectively been done to either since the pavilion was built some 20 years ago. Unfortunately this now places the onus firmly back on the Club to investigate what they can do to achieve this. Additionally the installation of a ball stop netting fence along the storm drainage ditch bank is a priority if only on the grounds of Health and Safety but it will take time to source grant availability for both clubs. The Club will liaise with Parish Council regarding these plans. ***************************************************************************************************************** |

LADIES & GIRLS FOOTBALL Under its constitution, the Club is obligated to make every effort it can to offer ladies and girls in the community the opportunity to play football under the Club banner. Over the past year or more in liaison with the Community School, we have tried everything we can think of to attract sufficient interest to raise a viable team. A small group of "enthusiasts" do continue to "train" on Thursday nights, presently on the Recreation Ground. We are hopeful of forming a team but still could do with more paticipants. If anyone is interested in joining this dedicated band, please contact Secretary |
